課程簡介 |
The role of the modern
clinical physical therapist is in the process of considerable change.
Physical therapists are increasingly turning away from a therapeutic
function based principally on a medical diagnosis, to an analytic,
diagnostic and therapeutic function. This course unit is designed
for undergraduate physical therapy students, in order to help you
acquire the basic mental as well as manual skills necessary for becoming
a competent clinician. The theoretical session aims to provide you the
fundamental framework of the neurological physical therapy, includes the
underlying
theoretical model of the movement control and various physical therapy
approaches in neurological rehabilitation, motor planning, skill
acquisition and normal movement pattern, the influence of perception,
cognition and
attention on motor performance and function, and the impact of ageing on
motor performance. |
